Isabel

Isabel and I have, throughout the years, continued to have a fruitful relationship, and I’ve seen her grow in so many ways. And so, on one of my recent trips, I made a slight detour and decided to travel to meet her again. 

Circa Mid-July 2024, Casa Salesas in Madrid. “See you there at 2:30pm!” said Isabel. I arrived a bit earlier to reply to some emails and messages, and half way through my Rosé wine, Isabelle arrived. She was wearing a sunny yellow, long summer dress that showed off her sporty shoulders and arms. I stood up to greet her and we hugged like it was never going to end. “Mamaaa Miaaaa!” I said. “What happened to the reserved girl in the trench coat?” Isabel really was dressed to impress. So much so that people were actually turning heads. Really.

We chatted about some recent and upcoming dates, and I wished I could somehow bottle her enthusiasm. “Remember the date I had in Florence?’ She asked me. “Oh my God, I loved it,” whilst making a big heart sign with her hands. “And do you remember the trip I took to Singapore? What an unbelievable experience that was!” “And do you remember this? And do you remember that?” she continued. It was all quite funny to be honest. And at no point had she something negative to say, which made me very happy indeed. 

Isabel is a young lady in her very early thirties and peaking! She’s a happy freelancer and her own boss, allowing her to work “from everywhere”. This also gives her the freedom to be on the move and have an active lifestyle. Physically Isabel loves to work out on a near-daily basis (and this definitely shows with her great physique). Personality wise, she carries a great dose of self-confidence (but zero arrogance!), and likes making new friends. She even chatted with the bar woman for at least four minutes after returning from the ladies room. “Do you know her,” I asked? “No, no,” she said. “I just like meeting new people!” That’s Isabel. Spontaneous. Flirty. Social. She can make an important decision right there, on the spot. Life is for living and not to waste, is her motto.  

We eventually left the restaurant at 6pm but only because I had a flight boarding at 7:40pm (!) 🙈 I was however gifted a treat for the eyes on the way out the restaurant. The sun shone through the corridor, reflecting the light through Isabel’s light fabric. For two or three seconds, her silhouette had no secrets for me. 🤫 ssshhhttt, I am sure she had not realised.
