Rebecca

When Rebecca and I first met online, we were both fully engaged in a great conversation. She even told me that she had been looking at the Aphrodite website for several years. “Several years?” I said. “What have you been waiting for?” And so, a couple of weeks later, just before Christmas, we met in a posh hotel lobby. She was wearing a classical dress with a zip in the front that drove my imagination wild. We shared a big piece of the hotel restaurant’s signature cake from the same plate. It was almost like something out of the spaghetti scene from Lady and the Tramp…. sadly, without the kiss at the end. I felt so comfortable around her as if we had known each other for years. 

Time flew by as we spoke about all sorts of things. Life, travel, her professional career, and so much more. I can only conclude that she’s a very caring person with lots of life experience—a real go-with-the-flow go-getter. In fact, in the time span of the two months we spent getting to know each other, she went on five trips: Marrakesh, Miami, London, Milan and Basel. “Gosh, you travel a lot,” I said. “Yes! It’s my hobby and passion. I jump at any chance to get a plane or a bus ticket and simply go!”.

And so, there's no doubt in my mind that Rebecca has that Aphrodite “x factor”. She has a kind of wisdom about her that’s hard to explain. It’s as if she can feel what you’re feeling, giving you the space to be completely comfortable to talk to her about anything. A charming, empathetic, elegant, gorgeous, and youthful yet diverse young lady, in essence.
