Nina

It was early August—warm and sunny—and Nina had chosen to wear a dress that was both elegant and sexy. “Either I show a little leg or go for a dress with more cleavage, but never both at the same time,” said Nina, with a smile. We sat down, looked at the menu and it was all so delicious-looking that we decided to order a bit of everything, prompting the waiter to ask if we were expecting more people to join us :). Nope, just two foodies in good company!

At the beginning of our conversation, I asked Nina how she would like to be introduced. “I’m like a honey bee,” she said. “A honey bee?” I asked, intrigued. “Yes,” she replied. “I love to seduce. I give a little bit of honey to my lovers, just a little, so that they come closer. With each step they take, I give a little bit more honey.” As she spoke, her gestures added emphasis to her words. “Do you understand now what I mean, honey?” she asked. I nodded, smiling. “Then that’s how I’ll introduce you,” I said. “Oh, please do!” she exclaimed. “You can also add that I’m a big hugger. I really love giving hugs.”

Nina is a polyglot and speaks fluent German, English, French, Spanish, and Italian, and she is currently learning Indonesian and Korean. She has lived in various places across Europe but has lost her heart to Asia. “Where in Asia?” I asked. “Good question,” she replied. “I love Indonesia—especially Bali—but I want to travel and discover more. I want to visit Vietnam, see more of Thailand, explore Taiwan, get to know the people, dive into their culture, learn to speak their languages. If only I had more time! I love to travel, but I’m sure I will settle somewhere in Asia. This is where I feel at home.”

We discussed so many topics that I could write a book instead of just a story. Nina is interested in healthy food and is taking courses to become a certified nutritionist. She plays the piano, loves to dance, and we talked about the risks of crypto trading (she’s a believer!), her love for the arts, and much more.

And then, around 11 PM, Nina excused herself to the ladies' room while I took care of the bill. She returned with her hands folded, took her seat, and said, “Look, Peter,” she unfolded her hands and showed me her underwear before she hid it in her purse. “It’s so hot here, and I want to feel free driving back to my place. I hope you don’t mind?” 🤤 😂 What a woman! I figured at that moment it was time to call it a day, so I offered to walk her to her car. Controlling myself in the elevator was not easy (but I managed!). We reached the parking lot of my hotel, hugged goodbye, and I sadly parted ways with this gem of an Aphrodite and made my way up to the 6th floor back to my room.
