Sometimes, when you talk with a potential Aphrodite online you have big expectations. And it can be disappointing when those expectations aren’t met in real life. In fact, it’s for this very reason why I always meet our Aphrodite’s in-person after a video call. When it came to meeting Joanna however, this was definitely not the case. I was completely wowed!

A little backstory: I was still in my room when Joanna texted me that she was in the lobby. I immediately went down and was met with the beautiful gaze of Joanna. She sat there, smiling sweetly, and as we inched closer, I got lost in her ocean-blue eyes that paired gorgeously with her dark blonde hair. Needless to say, she exceeded the image I had painted of her after our Skype call. This, in conjunction with her bubbly, youthful energy and mature mindset, left me feeling refreshed. 

Joanna was very at ease and comfortable during our meeting, and said all the right things. “I usually get along with everybody,” she said.“I am always excited to experiment, I am open-minded, and love meeting and learning from new people.” We engaged in all kinds of pleasant conversations, and I found out she’s a university graduate who spent a few years in the U.S. as an exchange student. Ah-ha! This explains her excellent fluency in English!
