Ik ontmoette Samantha voor mijn hotel in Amsterdam – charmant als altijd – en vroeg haar of ze een goed restaurant kon aanbevelen...
“Je hebt het aan de juiste persoon gevraagd,”zei ze. “Waar wil je heen? Ik ken Amsterdam als mijn broekzak,” voegde ze eraan toe; ze was een paar jaar geleden namelijk van Berlijn naar Amsterdam verhuisd. “Waar hangen de coole jongeren rond?”, vroeg ik. Toevallig waren we op loopafstand van Cecconi’s in het Soho House, en dat was de perfecte plek voor onze ontmoeting.
Zodra we gingen zitten, bestelden we twee gin-tonics en het gesprek verliep soepel en moeiteloos. Samantha is een heel sprankelend, spontaan en spraakzaam (op het juiste moment) persoon met geweldige sociale vaardigheden. Je kunt je gemakkelijk verliezen in haar sprankelende blauwe ogen terwijl je luistert naar haar verhalen over haar reisavonturen. Ze is dol op exotische bestemmingen en staat te popelen om alles achter zich te laten en eropuit te gaan! Ze heeft al zoveel bestemmingen bezocht, zoals Japan, Mexico, Colombia enzovoort, en hoewel ze bijna overal graag naartoe gaat om die plek te verkennen, is Samantha in hart en nieren eigenlijk een echte stadsmeid. Ze houdt ook van kunst, muziek, het nachtleven, sport en restaurants. Ze doet zelfs zo haar best om haar omgeving te leren kennen dat ze graag ooit stadsgids in Amsterdam zou willen worden.
Terug naar onze ontmoeting: ken je die momenten waarop de tijd gewoon voorbij vliegt? Zo voelt het om tijd met Samantha door te brengen. Nadat we ons hoofdgerecht hadden opgegeten, voelde het alsof onze date net was begonnen. Ik was eigenlijk nog niet helemaal klaar om de avond af te sluiten met een toetje, dus bestelde ik een pizza en nog wat wijn om te delen, gewoon om het gesprek gaande te houden 😋 (en mijn dieet te verpesten, tss!).
Wat de meer intieme details betreft: “Ik vind het heerlijk als mensen hun xxxuele voorkeuren aan mij onthullen,” zegt Samantha. Toen we bij het wat ondeugendere deel van ons gesprek kwamen, raakte Samantha helemaal opgewonden en beschreef ze haar voorkeuren met woorden en uitdrukkingen als ‘vuur’, ‘een plezierreis maken’, ‘koppels’, ‘plezier’ en ‘spelletjes’. Haar voorliefde voor lingerie-outfits en het geven van erotische massages? Een extra sensuele bonus! Ik wilde nog een dessert bestellen, alleen maar om meer tijd met haar door te brengen. Helaas was de keuken al gesloten!

Travel destinations
London is always a favourite, and I never get tired of Italy, Spain or Paris. The Amalfi Coast is still high on my list. The Caribbean, on the other hand, already has my heart. I also loved Japan and South America, and I'd love explore more of Asia, visit New York, and finally make it to Cape Town one day.
Hobbies, free time and sports
I love staying active. You'll often find me doing Vinyasa yoga, strength training, outdoor runs in summer, high-intensity workouts, or playing tennis. I'm drawn towards beautiful things - fashion, art, design, architecture, photography, gastronomy, listening to vinyl record and getting lost in music, and places with character. I love discovering new cities, different cultures, and interesting people. I'm also fascinated by psychology and enjoy reading psychology books and listening to podcasts.
