Tamara

On our first encounter in London, some time in May, it was cold and raining with no sign of spring. We met up for breakfast, but the location was so loud we decided to go somewhere else. We walked through the rain, but our newfound spot wasn’t much better. Now usually this kind of thing would put me in a bad mood, but not Tamara… she just kept smiling, taking everything in stride. She has the ability to find joy in the simplest of things and her unshakable positivity is a quality I look for when meeting potential new Aphrodite’s. 

Finally we found a nice place to have breakfast, and sat down to chat more...

Tamara went on to speak in a soft, engaging voice about her personal and professional path. I quickly learned that Tamara is an educated young lady, very articulate, with a keen interest in tech, but also in sociology, journalism, and so much more.

She loves to mingle with people from different walks of life, from artists to freedom fighters to bio farmers to business people, and also xxx workers! Tamara's curiosity about the world and her passion for diverse experiences were evident in every story she told. I found it very amusing to listen to her talk. 

Needless to say, I was adamant to welcome Tamara on-board but, you know, life happens, and we had to postpone the start of our cooperation by a few weeks. In the meantime however, I made another trip to London, and to my luck, Tamara was free for another date. The weather was sunny, and Tamara suggested we meet at The Petersham Wine Bar in Covent Garden. I was in a particularly good mood that day, and on our second date, it was not just the rosé wine that flowed—the conversation did, too. 

Tamara, a self-declared professional lounger, was her true self, and it reminded me why she would make a great Aphrodite. Her relaxed demeanour and effortless charm, coupled with a sharp mind and an open-minded view on most things—including the more intimate aspects of life—makes her a much sought-after companion. “Let’s touch the sublime together”, she said.
