Marianna

Marianna and I met in Lausanne, and when she walked in, (before even reaching the table), I was already taken aback by her sense of fashion. She was wearing a sheer turtleneck blouse that somehow revealed nothing yet just enough to pique my interest. We exchanged a kiss hello, she smiled, brushed her hair to the side as if it were second nature, and took her seat. I couldn’t help but smile too, overcome with the kind of happiness I feel when I know I’ve found a new Aphrodite. 😀

Marianna has a way of making you feel at ease. I felt comfortable with her, and suggested we have a drink and share some food. She chose an espresso martini and I went for a white wine, after which we enjoyed a truffle pilsa, chatting between bites. The combination of good food, easy conversation, laughter, and her mere presence was refreshing. There’s just something immediately disarming about her—a beautiful smile, an almost angelic face, but more than that, an energy that feels fresh, uncomplicated, and light.

At only twenty-six, she’d already lived in Brazil, the U.S., and several cities across Europe, absorbing cultures the way some people collect stories. Today, she’s chosen to settle in Zurich. It's clearly evident that travel has shaped her—moving easily through the world, happy-go-lucky without being naïve.

And yes, we did touch on her intimate preferences— to which she mentioned the word, ‘spicy’ a few times, noting that she has a high energy and an adventurous streak.
