Luiza

It was a warm Saturday afternoon when Luiza walked towards me in a gorgeous, elegant yet breezy summer slip dress and sandals. White with detailed lace, exposing her sporty shoulders and arms, her shiny brown hair flowed, and she had a big smile on her face. I was completely in awe. Apprehensive at first, she said:  “I can’t believe you travelled to Madrid to meet me!”. “Of course, this is what I do.” I said. We then started talking about why it was so important to meet in-person as part of our screening process for our wonderful gentlemen, and also to learn how to introduce her and to whom. Almost immediately Luiza opened up and understood why I had so many questions. What followed was a long conversation, some tapas with some delicious Albariño wine, and tea with cheese cake :) Naturally I did most of the eating … as usual! The whole experience was, in a word, fun! We indulged in various topics, and even moved seats three times to find the best quiet spot. Luiza, in her carefree nature, was not bothered at all by my desire to play musical chairs.

Luiza is a young woman from Brazil with European roots who travels back and forth between Sao Paolo and Madrid several times a year for her career. She loves music, dancing, fashion, and the arts. While her English isn’t as fluent as our typical Aphrodites, she’s motivated to work on it. Sometimes she throws in some cute Portuguese words with a grin, adding more charm to her personality. Her beauty is so overwhelming however, the conversational English is easy to overlook (in fact, we even had a few laughs about it!). In short, Luiza likes to have a good time, easily goes with the flow, and is excited about uncomplicated adventures. 

Moreover, she described herself as a true romantic, and a sweet girlfriend, boldly announcing: “I’m an Aphrodite!” with a sexy wink. Indeed, I was convinced.
